Reiki is an energy healing technique which can bring relief of pain and symptoms in the mind, body and emotions. It is a powerful natural system of healing that unlocks the inner flow of vital energy, restoring and balancing the bodys energy. It can be used for maintaining wellbeing or helping the healing process. It can also be combined with other healing methods.

What can Reiki Help With?

Reiki can brings about deep relaxation, detoxify the system, and provide new vitality in the form of healing universal life energy. It is beneficial for many tension and stress-related conditions, headaches, aches and pains and to assist general wellbeing.

What to expect

The treatment takes place fully clothed, lying on a mat on the floor or on a couch. The practitioner then gently places hands non-intrusively on or above the body.

Some people experience Reiki as warmth, some as cool energy, some as tingling. What each person experiences during a treatment will vary a lot, according to each individuals needs at the time and how sensitive they are to feeling subtle energy.

Clients are advised to:

  • Wear loose comfortable clothes
  • Avoid eating for at least 1 hour before and after treatment
  • Not drink any alcohol before the treatment.
